Hashglow is a read-only monitor for your Bitcoin miners. It was built on one principle — don't trust, verify — and that applies to your privacy too. The short version: Hashglow has no account, collects nothing about you, and sends none of your data to us or anyone else. Here are the specifics.
Nothing. Hashglow has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, usage analytics, or any personal information. There is no Hashglow server storing your data, because there is no Hashglow server that your app talks to.
On your local network, Hashglow only ever performs read requests to your miners' open status page. It cannot and does not change your miner's pool, payout address, settings, or power — by design. It reads; it never writes.
If you choose to set up remote monitoring, a helper you run in your own home publishes your fleet's readings to a relay you choose, end-to-end encrypted. Only your paired device holds the key to read them — we cannot. Nothing in this feature identifies you, and it is entirely opt-in. If you never turn it on, it never runs.
The optional one-time Premium unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Hashglow never sees your payment details — Apple simply tells the app whether the purchase is active.
Hashglow is a utility for miner owners and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
